- Probably Pre WW1
- Definitely 1915 or Before!
- Fairly Gorgeous Condition!
- Leather is still pretty solid
- You can see where it has separated on the side edges of the back skirt (pictured)
- Missing one of the stars that affixes the top piece to the top of the Helmet (pictured)
- The Brass Ball top is an ORIGINAL replacement piece I purchased after searching Long & Hard -The treading of this piece does not match the threading of the original piece and you can note the difference in Patina from one piece to the other!
- The Original Artillery Ball piece, missing the top of the dome is also included in this listing
- Liner is in pretty remarkable shape for it's age
- There is a nice Patina to the front Badge and the other Brass implements to the Helmet
- Officer's Chin Strap & Cockades are also just the way you want to see them
- Perhaps a Loose Thread here or there
- Chinstrap still buckles smartly on the front - or - over the front Brim
- Could Be the Most Original example of this Rare Helmet You will Ever find!

- This Helmet Has your normal expected wear from war, usage & Storage but is really quite solid and would make a great war relic (From the 'Great War') displayed Amongst your other war Treasures!
